As promised, a little (outfit) update from beautiful Berlin! I feel like putting on five kilo of weight, I had a perfect first "Karneval der Kulturen" (a kind of festival with loads of people, good music and fun) and I found some new little treasures: one of them is this beautiful elephant coin necklace. Well, I have to leave the land of milk and honey whether I like or not but I have to get in my favourite pair of jeans again, haha! (girls' problems you know).

I also have to admit that I own a new pair of favourite shoes! I was never the friend of sandals or flip flops or open shoes in general and if I found a beautiful pair (which happened hardly ever) it was damaged the next day. But these Cut-Out Boots seem the right ones, they are comfy, good looking and airy and the best part: they look good with skirts, dresses AND jeans. Today I wore them with my black maxi, a tie dye shirt and my beloved leather jacket and don't forget to add some jewellery (or looooooads of jewellery ;)).

DE:Wie versprochen, melde ich mich kurz aus Berlin! Ich fühle mich um die 5 Kilo schwerer, hatte ein super erstes Festival der Kulturen und habe ein paar tolle neue Schätze ergattert, unter anderem diese tolle indisch angehauchte Elefantenmedaillon-Kette (was für ein Wort).Nun muss ich leider das Schlaraffenland wohl oder übel bei Seite schieben und wieder in meine Lieblingsjeans passen, so ein Mist aber auch!

Ich muss zugeben, dass ich ein neues Paar Lieblingsschuhe besitze! Ich war noch nie der Freund von offenen Schuhen, weder Flip Flops noch Sandalen haben mir je wirklich zugesagt und wenn, waren sie seltsamerweise nach einem Tag kaputt. Diese Cut Out Boots hingegen scheinen wie für mich gemacht! Sie sind stabil, luftig und unheimlich bequem und wurden nun zu meinen Lieblingssommerschuhen erklärt! Das Beste daran: Sie sehen zu allem gut aus, egal ob man sie mit Jeans, Rock oder Kleidchen trägt!

Bei diesem Outfit habe ich sie mit meinem schwarzen Maxi, einem Batik Crop Top, einer Lederjacke und Hut kombiniert...nicht zu vergessen Schmuck, Schmuck, Schmuck!

Here I am again after a little pause, a really stressful one! I have a lot on my plate at the moment cause I want to achieve my aims in life, wow that sounds grown-up, haha! In the meantime I wanted to feed you with a new in post. I sauntered along a great fleamarket and found these porcelain treasures. I must admit that I am heavily into this kind of crockery, best of all in every imaginable variation so I can give all my guests a unique one! Damn, I watched too much "Alice in Wonderland" ( always have to think of it when I talk about this).

By the way, I found the perfect iphone cases at caseable.com. I designed my own ones which was actually really difficult if you can choose your own designs, haha. But I am so happy with the result thanks so much!

DE: Da bin ich wieder, nach einer für mich etwas längeren Pause! Momentan habe ich ziemlich viel um die Ohren, um endlich meine Ziele im Leben zu erreichen. Wow das hört sich ja richtig erwachsen an...haha. Trotzdem wollte ich euch meinen New In Post nicht vorenthalten :)

Morgen geht es für mich für eine Woche nach Berlin und ich muss zugeben, dass es sich immer ein bisschen wie Urlaub anfühlt!

Letzte Woche war ich auf einem grandiosen Flohmarkt unterwegs und habe diese tollen Porzelanschätze ergattert. Ich muss zugeben, dass ich total auf diese Art Geschirr abfahre, am liebsten sollte meine Sammlung so viele verschiedene Service wie möglich beinhalten, damit ich jedem meiner Gäste ein anderes vor die Nase stellen kann. Oh man ich hab zu viel Alice im Wunderland geschaut (ich muss irgendwie immer sofort daran denken).

Was ich noch loswerden wollte:

Ich habe endlich die perfekten Iphone Cases gefunden bei caseable.com, dort habe ich mir prompt zwei selbst gestaltet und bin mehr als zufrieden! Auch wenn ich zugeben muss, dass es mir echt schwer gefallen ist mich zu entscheiden, wenn die Auswahl einfach ins Unendliche reicht!

Drückt mir die Daumen & bis zum nächsten Post aus Berlin!

Actually, I don't feel like writing so much today, the pictures should talk for themselves. Just a few random facts for you:

1. I haven't eaten liquorice ice cream for two years until now, yummiest thing ever. I really miss Finland while eating the best ice cream of the world.

2. My heart feels the summer vibe although my little summer dresses still hang in my closet

3. I want to walk barefoot on wet ground

4. I really feel like spending some money at the moment, haha
5. I want to connect my birthmarks to a constellation like shown in the first pictures, looks magical!

6. I got my Iphone two days ago and I already feel addicted to instagram, shame on me (@juulekay)

DE: Eigentlich möchte ich nicht wirklich viel erzählen, sondern die Bilder vielmehr für sich selbst wirken lassen, deshalb fasse ich mich kurz:

1. Ich habe seit 2 Jahren endlich wieder Lakritzeis gegessen, das ist eine Sache wofür ich Finnland so vermisse

2. Mein Herz stellt sich langsam aber sicher auf Sommer ein; auch wenn meine Kleidchen immernoch an meinen Kleiderstangen vor sich hin hängen

3. Ich will barfuß laufen, auf nassen Steinen und Gras

4. Momentan habe ich richtig Lust auf Geld verprassen und alte Dinge loswerden
5. Ich möchte meine Muttermale, wie im ersten Bild, zu einem Sternenbild verbinden, schaut wirklich magisch aus!

6. Seit ich seit ein paar Tagen ein Iphone habe, bin ich echt Instagram süchtig geworden, damn (@juulekay)

Yippey-Yeah! I'm in cowboy-mood! Okay, actually I wouldn't say I am a cowboy (my boyfriend did this part while playing me the theme tune of "The Good. The Bad and The Ugly"). But I stand by my hat, the bigger the better! Somehow, I noticed that hats and lace socks are my trademarks, you will either see me with a pair of girly socks or a huge hat, haha. But I have to admit that hats give me the typical Wild West feeling, sometimes I can even feel the sandy wind in my hair. Sounds weird? It is! (but people wearing hats can probably or hopefully understand me).

Perhaps you'll ask me why I look so furious on the pictures.. Hm, I pin it on the sun in my face or the thought of not wanting to be a cowboy cause I always disguised myself as a an Indian when I was little. Okay, enough of justifications!

I am already a bit in festival mood, it's hard to recognize.. (okay ironic button off!) Playing with patterns is one of my new hobbies, here you can see the result of a paisley and an aztec pattern with it a knit cardigan, a moschino belt, a pair of wedges with studded socks and you're ready to play cowboy!

DE: Yippey-Yeah! Ich bin in Cowboy-Stimmung! Na gut, eigentlich würde ich mich nicht als Cowboy betiteln, das hat mein freund nämlich schon für mich erledigt und mich dabei mit der Titelmelodie der "Gloreiche(n) Halunken" beschallt! Ich steh zu diesem Prachtexemplar von Hut, je größer die Krempe, desto besser! Hüte gehören schon fast so zu mir, wie meine Spitzensöckchen, deswegen wird es mir vermutlich keiner verübeln, dass ich dieses Baby einfach kaufen musste! Für mich haben Hüte aber dennoch den gewissen Wilden Westen Charme; manchmal kommt es mir im Sommer sogar so vor als würde ich den sandigen Wind in meinen Haaren spüren. Klingt merkwürdig, ist es auch (aber vielleicht fühlen die Hutträger ja mit mir). 

Warum ich auf dem ersten Bild so grimmig schaue? Hm, schieben wir es mal auf die Sonne oder den Gedanken, dass ich kein Cowboy sein will, weil ich als Kind immer den Indianerpart in Sachen Verkleidung gespielt habe. Okay, genug gerechtfertigt... 

Ein bisschen bin ich schon im Festivalvorfreudemodus (falls dieses Wort überhaupt existiert), was wahrscheinlich unschwer zu erkennen ist. Mit Mustern spielen ist übrigens mein neues Hobby, hier hab ichs mal mit Paisley- und Aztekenmuster probiert, dazu ein grobgestrickter Cardigan, ein Moschino Gürtel, ein paar Wedges mit Nietensöckchen und fertig ist der Cowboy-Look!

DIY: THE EASIEST FLOWER CROWN

What I do on lazy sundays? -Trying to distract myself by doing a DIY.

Today, I felt like creating something flowery, something girlish. I bought some flower bouquets some months ago but never found the time to create something. You all know that I am more than a fan of flower stuff that's why I couldn't have the heart to not buy them. 

The best thing: You get all this stuff (just the flowers which I bought in a handicraft shop & alice band) for less than 5 euros (or 10 for two, just got addicted, haha). The real part is pretty easy but I like the result: just bind the flowers as you can see in the pictures.

DE: Wie ich meine Sonntage so verbringe? -Mit DIY's.

Heute war mir irgendwie nach etwas Blumigen, etwas mädchenhaften Kram. Da kam mir wirklich zu Gute, dass ich schon Monate lang diese süßen, kleinen Blumensträußchen vor meiner Nase herumtanzen sehe. Endlich, wirklich endlich habe ich es auch geschafft etwas draus zu machen. Wie vermutlich mittlerweile jeder von euch weiß steh ich auf diesen Blumenkram und hab es einfach nicht übers Herz gebracht sie nicht zu kaufen.

Das Beste an der ganzen Sache: die Materialien kriegt ihr unter 10, wenn nicht sogar unter 5 Euro (kommt drauf an, ob ihr genauso im Blumen"flecht"-Fieber seid wie ich). Ihr braucht ein paar Haarreifen und ein bisschen Dekoblümchen; meine habe ich bei Idee ergattert. So nun zum eigentlichen & einfachen Part, denn alles was ihr tun müsst ist Blümchen zu binden. Ziemlich einfach, nicht? Aber das Ergebnis kann sich dennoch sehen lassen finde ich!

Fortunately, this dreamlike feeling to be woken up by the rays of sunshine accompanies me since last week. Strangely enough that all people begin to smile and change their bad mood into a good one by the first sunshine (must admit I am part of this phenomenon). My winterblues is finally over thanks to the sun! I danced the night away listening to DIGITALISM.

BY the way, spring and summer are my favourite seasons due to the fact that I can't stand all this layering of clothes in winter anymore. Et voilà, one of my first girly summer outfits this year, it's time to wear girly skirts, I love to combine them with lace. This time with long sleeves cause my skirt is short enough! You won't see me without flower crowns this summer cause they are somehow a part of me just as my girly lace socks for mild summer nights under the stars.

DE: Das traumhafte Gefühl von der Sonne wachgeküsst zu werden begleitet mich glücklicherweise schon die ganze letzte Woche. Schon seltsam irgendwie, wie sich die Stimmung der ganzen Leute um dich herum sich komplett verändert, sobald sie Sonnestrahlen auf ihrer Haut spühren. Ich gehöre übrigens auch dazu. Mein Winterblues ist nun endgültig überwunden. Danke Sonne! Die Nacht habe ich damit verbracht meine Füße durchzutanzen und dazu ein bisschen DIGITALISM zu lauschen.

Frühling und Sommer sind voll mein Ding, ich kann diese ganzen Schichten an Kleidung einfach nicht mehr sehn. Et voilà, ein typisches Outfit voll mädchenhaftem Charme. Endlich ist wieder Röckchenzeit, dazu trage ich am liebsten Spitze. Diesmal lang, da mein Rock schon kurz genug ist.

Ohne Blumenkranz werdet ihr mich im Sommer womöglich auch nicht antreffen, der gehört mittlerweile zu mir und meinen lauen Sommernächten genauso dazu wie meine heißgeliebten Spitzensöcken.
